Daniel began his apprenticeship at Crazy Monkey Tattoo in Brooklyn, New York in early 2008. Due to his extensive art and illustration background, he was able to begin working as a full-time tattoo artist by the summer of that same year. He spent his first three years in the industry working as a tattoo artist and shop manager at Crazy Monkey, until he decided to leave the city in the summer of 2011. Daniel returned to his hometown in Sullivan County, New York, and is currently working at Forsaken Ink in Bloomingburg.

Over the years, Daniel has received much praise and recognition for his work. At the 2011 Visionary Tattoo Arts Festival in Asbury Park, NJ, Daniel won Best Small/Medium Color Tattoo and Best Tattoo of the Day.
